Construction Impact Mitigation
While thorough planning helps minimize construction-related impacts, some temporary disruptions are inevitable. Hecate Energy is committed to keeping the Lee Township community informed and engaged throughout the process.
Prior to construction, Hecate and its contractors established regular communication channels with local township and county officials, as well as emergency services.
An official Complaint Resolution Process has been implemented to receive, track, and respond to community feedback during construction.
In May, Hecate will host an Informational Open House to provide details about the construction process. We invite all Lee Township residents and neighbors to attend and learn more.
Road Use
We understand that construction may temporarily affect local roads, and we are committed to minimizing disruptions and maintaining public safety throughout the process.
Hecate worked closely with Lee Township to develop a comprehensive Traffic Control Plan, which outlines how typical construction activities - such as the transportation of large components or the implementation of work zone speed limits - may affect local traffic.
Hecate Energy has entered into a road use agreement with the Calhoun County Road Department, and will follow its terms to remediate damage to roads used during construction.
